1. What is a foiled playmat?

Our foiled playmats feature a premium metallic foil layer applied to selected parts of the artwork. This creates a reflective finish that shifts with the light and gives the design extra depth and contrast compared to standard printed playmats.

2. Will the foil scratch or wear off?

Foil is more delicate than standard print. With normal tabletop use, the foil holds up well, but sharp objects, excessive friction, or abrasive surfaces can cause scratches over time. Treat it like a premium item rather than a utility mat.

3. Is the foiled surface smooth?

Yes. The playmat remains smooth and comfortable to play on. You may feel a very slight texture difference where the foil is applied, but it does not interfere with card movement or gameplay.

4. Does the foil cause glare?

Foil reflects light, especially under strong or direct lighting. This is part of the visual effect. Under normal indoor lighting, glare is minimal, but very bright lights may increase reflectivity.
